With ample exhibition space, TRUNK gallery is dedicating itself in part to the resale of fine art. Artwork for resale will be displayed rather than stored as do auction houses. We will take a competitive commission based on the sale price of the artwork (25% for artworks under $10,000; 20% for artworks under $40,000; 15% for artworks under $70,000; 10% for artworks under $100,000). TRUNK gallery will establish a retail-estimate for the artwork up for resale based on historical and commercial gallery background checks. We will provide clients with an information-portfolio on the artist whose work they acquire so they may be better informed and educated.
